Over the years, I’ve learned that true regulatory excellence doesn’t come from templates or checklists. It comes from understanding the law, the regulator’s expectations, and the client’s real-world operations.
As a lawyer and a DFSA-approved MLRO and Compliance Officer, I’ve had the privilege of working across multiple regulatory environments including the CBUAE, SCA, VARA and DNFBPs, helping institutions navigate both challenge and change.
